Originally built in 1959, the ice rink has been a favorite spot for generations of Wheeling-area kids and adults to play hockey, learn to skate, and have fun.
This campaign is an amazing opportunity to increase the number and variety of activities offered in Wheeling Park for both youth and adults. We will transform the ice rink into a four-season facility with the flexibility to be everything from an ice or roller skating rink to a pickleball court to a backup event space during inclement weather.
